Childcare Education and Training Support – CETS Programme

The CETS programme was introduced in September 2010; the CETS programme provides qualifying FAS and VEC students with childcare places for the duration of their course. For more information on the CETS programme please click here. After School Scheme The subsidised after-school child care scheme is a new initiative, financed through the Department of Social Protection and managed by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The scheme supports low-income and unemployed persons to return to the workforce.
