Support to Childcare Services

We provide free information, advice, and support to all those working in childcare services i.e Pre-schools After-schools Crèche fullday care including childminders in the home and parent & toddler groups. We also provide:

Training

We provide subsidised training to all those working in childcare to improve quality and ensure continuous professional development within the sector.

Development

We provide support and assistance to access funding and grant aid through the National Childcare Investment Programme for existing childcare services, individuals and community groups planning to start up new services, childminders in the home wishing to provide/enhance a childcare service.

Quality

We support existing childcare providers to enhance and improve the quality of childcare provision by assistance in

1. developing policies and procedures

2. Support with recruitment and management of staff

3. Collaboration with HSE Pre-school Inspectors to support existing services to meet the childcare regulations

4. Organising and facilitating network meetings

5. host annual conferences / seminars on childcare related topics
